Focus On What’s Important, Filter Out the BS

Ed encourages the viewer to think of the mind as a powerful weapon. In order to be effective, it has to be pointed in the right direction before being fired. We have to constantly think about what we want and filter out the thoughts that run counter to what we want.

  • You don’t see things in life as they are, you see things in life as you are. If we constantly think negative thoughts, all we’ll see is negativity around us.
  • Be obsessed with what you want. Crowd out the thoughts that don’t serve your purposes. By doing this, you’ll pick up on cues and items in your surrounding environment that can help you achieve your objectives. When you focus on negative thoughts, you’ll likely miss out on these important directional signals.
